Who we are
We are a team of people who work with other services, such as the School Nursing Service, health visitors and children’s community nurses, to support children and young people with an identified respiratory condition.
What we do
We work closely with hospital paediatricians to identify children and young people who need support and we work with our partners to care for them.
We provide education and information about respiratory conditions and current treatments to make sure staff work together to meet each child’s needs and our aim it to improve the child’s quality of life as well as helping to control their condition.
We work across east Kent in homes, schools, nurseries, colleges, clinics and hospitals and we run community clinics in:
- Aylesham Health Centre
- Broadstairs Health Centre
- Canterbury Health Centre
- Deal Community Clinic
- Dover Health Centre
- Folkestone Health Centre
- St Stephen’s Health Centre
- Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital, Herne Bay
- Whitstable Health Centre
