This appointment is different from others you may have had. Instead of seeing just one clinician in a small room, we’ve organised a day where NHS and community services come together in one location. This allows you to see all the specialists you need in one visit.
You’ll have as much time as you need with the clinicians you see – there’s no set end time for your appointment.
For most patients, this initial day is enough, as we provide all the treatment and management advice you need during the day. However, for those that need further support this can also be arranged.
While there will be other patients attending at the same time, we’ve arranged the space to ensure your privacy. The hall will be divided into large sections, each dedicated to a specific area of expertise, with between five and 20 clinicians in each section.
