Urgent care support for Edenbridge in December

We’re sorry but Edenbridge Minor Injury Unit will be temporarily closed from today (14 December) until 18 January due to staff shortages and sickness.

If you need treatment for minor injuries, please call NHS 111 or visit Sevenoaks Urgent Treatment Centre or the Queen Victoria Hospital MIU in East Grinstead.

Community Service Director Clare Thomas said: “We’re very sorry, this is not a decision we have taken lightly. However, due to staff shortages and increasing sickness over the holiday period, Edenbridge MIU will be temporarily closed.

“We have had to close the MIU on a number of days during the past couple of months to make sure we can provide a reliable service at our GP-led Sevenoaks Urgent Treatment Centre, which can treat a wider variety of injuries and is open longer.

“If you need advice or treatment, phone NHS 111 or visit our Sevenoaks Urgent Treatment Centre or Queen Victoria MIU at East Grinstead, both open from 8am until 8pm.”
