Thanks Annie for your friendly approach

Adult Speech and Language Therapist Annie Elias is really approachable and friendly. She is clear with her communication and comments, which means I feel involved and consulted about what is going to happen and with what she is going to do.

I have felt very cut-off during the pandemic – contact with my GP hasn’t been as regular and, as there isn’t any treatment for my illnesses, I feel unable to take up time with consultants to track my degeneration because they have been needed for sick patients who they can actually treat. All they can do for me, is listen.

Annie has made me feel I can do something about the distressing symptoms I am having and I feel cared about.
