Find out more about working and living in Kent:
Emma Turner, Podiatry team lead.
“I trained at Huddersfield and when I qualified I started looking at roles in London at first – but then I spotted a role in Kent and moved here instead . I started as a band 5 podiatrist in Maidstone but I always wanted a team lead role so that’s what I set my sights on and I’ve been encouraged and supported to do it by the trust. I’m based in Rochester which is a lovely historic town, but with easy access to London via the high speed train or the M2 – it takes about 45 minutes.”
Luke Hartley, Podiatrist.
“I trained at UEL and worked in Lewisham for a while, but Kent has got everything – coast, countryside, easy access to London and France – what’s not to like? I really like the team I work in and the patients are lovely too. I’m well supported by my managers and I get to live and work in a beautiful part of the world for a fraction of what it would cost in London.”
