East Sussex Children’s Integrated Therapy and Equipment Service – June 2024

The staff member was an amazing speech therapist for my young son. His speech improved massively whilst working with them. They were professional, kind, friendly and their knowledge of his speech disorder was so reassuring. They supported us as a family in dealing with his needs. They also made the relevant referrals when needed for other issues with his health.

School Health (Kent) – June 2024

We've noticed a significant change in our daughter and her confidence. The counsellor also reminded us of the appointments - brilliant communication. They made my daughter feel eased and comfortable. (Children and Young People's Counselling)

Urgent care – June 2024

South East DriveAbility – June 2024

Podiatry – June 2024

The three staff we saw were amazing with my autistic son, who I thought would not tolerate them treating him. However they did manage to, as they were so reassuring and patient.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service – June 2024

Staff very cheerful, helpful and kept everybody motivated. Very encouraging.

Podiatric surgery – June 2024

Very friendly and professional staff. Very good pre and post procedure information and care. Relaxed atmosphere, high standard of cleanliness.

Whitstable and Tankerton Hospital – June 2024

Food very good, care great, bell recall very good, physio superb, atmosphere very good. Day room a joy to use on special occasions, such as birthday and 80th anniversary D-Day, very touching. Garden facility great.

Respiratory Service (east Kent) – June 2024

The nurse is always calm, caring and compassionate. Whenever I call the service, the people who answer the phones are also kind. I feel looked after and listened to.

Urgent Care Team (west Kent) – June 2024

The staff were always very cheerful, knowledgeable and they answered all my questions, that I fully understood what is happening in my care. (Rapid Response service)

Urgent care – June 2024

Check-in was easy, waiting time was excellent, triage was thorough. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful, but above all welcoming. Their professionalism was exemplary. (Deal UTC)

Tuberculosis (TB) Nursing Service – June 2024

The nurse was very professional. Explained the procedure to me. Was gentle with my baby. They also helped me carrying my baby. The nurse was lovely.

School Health (Kent) – June 2024

Extremely helpful advice and really nice caring attitude to a sensitive subject. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Staff member couldn't have been more helpful.

Pharmacy Team – June 2024

Clinicians were very compassionate, caring and understood what the patient's needs were and dealt with things sensitively. The clinicians helped her with medications and they were fantastic.

Community nursing – June 2024

Nurses are very supportive, visiting three times a week. Both nurses listen to my wishes. Include me in decisions in my care.

Health Visiting Service – June 2024

Very kind and informative health visitor, created a warm environment with plenty of toys for my little girl to explore whilst we were talking.

Dental Services – June 2024

Everyone was very patient with my brother. They showed a lot of care and consideration towards him, making sure he was okay throughout the appointment. They made us feel very reassured and comfortable at all the times.

East Sussex School Health – June 2024

The school nurse was really helpful, she listened and signposted me in the right directions.

Epilepsy Service – June 2024

The nurse yesterday (and always) takes time to listen and explain further care. I did not feel rushed and she took the time to speak to my husband at my request. The appointment was booked so quickly after I made contact. I feel really safe and looked after.

Physiotherapy (musculoskeletal) – June 2024

The therapists are kind, thoughtful and helpful, offering support and encouragement. I think the group session works very well and is very effective.

Community nursing – June 2024

The nurse really helped me, put my mind at rest. She is very kind and helped me a great deal. (Wound Centre)

Very friendly staff made you feel welcome. Always emphasised only do the exercises if you feel safe to do so. I was told many things to make my life safer.

Heart Failure Nursing Service – June 2024

The care and treatment I have received has been excellent. Generally and honestly I could not fault the whole system. The NHS is brilliant.

Lymphoedema Service – June 2024

Everything was just brilliant. The nurses are so knowledgeable and caring and kind, just fabulous.

Continence Service – June 2024

The clinician made me comfortable and was so easy to talk to. I have been given great advice and treated with respect and understanding. The tablets I have been given have completely changed my life. Thank you so much for all your care.

Immunisation Team – June 2024

The nurse adapted the location to meet my SEN daughter's needs. They treated my 14 year old daughter with patience, kindness and respect. Throughout my daughter was treated as an individual and her fears respected which allowed her to have the trust and confidence to receive the vaccine.

Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team – June 2024

Staff were friendly and professional and assisted all who attended over several weeks. Allowed us to regain our confidence and strength while making it fun. Always had a smile on their faces. My heart felt thanks to them both.

Children’s Hearing Service – June 2024

Wonderful experience, my son loved it and had fun all through the process. Thanks to the audiologists, they were amazing.

Community Chronic Pain Service – June 2024

I was listened to and the response was considered and appropriate. I came away from the experience feeling more positive than I had for a considerable time. Thank you.
