We work very hard to make sure the care our patients receive is the best it can be at all times. It’s important that we learn from what our patients tell us and it’s vital that we are open and transparent about everything that we do.
Each year, we publish our Quality report, in which we report on our performance and any lessons that we have learned in the previous 12 months. And every month reports about our patients’ experience are discussed in public at the trust’s Board.
This is to make sure that we never stop delivering the professional and efficient care that our patients deserve.
We are part of a national initiative called Sign up to Safety. It aims to make the NHS the safest healthcare system in the world, delivering harm-free care for every patientpatient. It champions openness and honesty and supports everyone to improve the safety of patients. Sign up to Safety’s three-year objective is to reduce avoidable harm by 50 per cent.
We welcome feedback and comments about your experience of using our healthcare services and we are always looking for people to get involved with what we do, find out more under our Help Us section.
